The PHEC Course is aimed at health care professionals working in, or preparing to work in, pre-hospital emergency care including those planning to progress to PHEM training programs. Additionally, the PHEC course is open to suitably experienced British Army CMTs, Royal Navy MAs or RAF Medics, with senior trade training, who are supported by their command to attend. The PHEC course meets the requirements of the Green Guide for those HCPs undertaking crowd cover at UK sports stadia in the role of the Event Doctor, Nurse or Paramedic or as a member of the wider professional medical team.

The PHEC course no longer accepts non-HCP’s apart from military medics as detailed above.
