After the covid induced hiatus I am pleased to say that the Association’s annual conference returns as a face-to-face event late this year at the beautiful Tortworth Court Hotel and Conference Centre in Gloucestershire.

With 120 plus delegates expected (based on previous year’s attendance figures) we are looking forward to something a little special this year and hope that our suppliers and innovators will join the delegates to the benefit of all. Our delegates are a mixed bunch and this is a very informal conference that excels at networking through a variety of opportunities in the magnificent surroundings of Tortworth Court just a few miles from junction 14 of the M5.

Our delegate profile includes a range of influencers and decision makers:

  • Medical directors & their deputies from the UK NHS Ambulance Trusts
  • Senior regional immediate care scheme volunteers
  • Consultant medical, nursing & paramedical staff
  • Military medical staff
  • Event medical staff
  • Mountain & lowland rescue staff and volunteers

The venue for this year’s conference is the beautiful Tortworth Court Hotel & Conference Centre in the midst of the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside yet just 5-minutes from junction 14 of the M5 and less than 30-minutes from all the mainline Bristol rail-stations and Bristol Airport.

Nestling in 30-acres of its own grounds and featuring in the Domesday Book, the estate was the ancestral seat of the Ducie family for 350 years. Following a multi-million pound restoration, the manor house now combines 21st-century style with a wealth of original features and fittings. Tortworth Court is a beautiful conference venue with plenty of amenities beyond the norm including a 30 acre estate with a Victorian arboretum that houses more than 300 plant and tree specimens alongside multiple spaces to relax and explore.

With ample free parking onsite, Tortworth Court has a free to use (for residents) gym and swimming pool. Also available, at additional cost payable against your room, is a range of specialist beauty treatments along with manicures and pedicures, facials and massages.

Getting to Tortworth Court by plane or train

Bristol is a major travel hub and offers rail and air links. The local railway station is. The closest mainline station is Bristol Parkway station and is roughly a 30 minute road journey although a more local station is Yate, located approximately 20 minutes away.

The Bristol Airport is a 40 minute drive from De Vere Tortworth Court via the M5.
