The BASICS Pre-hospital Emergency Care Conference has been an annual event for many years. This year we return to the West Midlands area and following feedback have changed from a Friday & Saturday attendance to Thursday & Friday, the 3-4 October 2019. The conference will include input from recognised authorities within their fields as well as from others working at the sharp end of pre-hospital emergency care, this will combine lectures, workshops and opportunities to chat informally. The Annual BASICS Dinner will be held on the evening of the 3 October 2019 and this will include honouring a number of our members with a variety of different awards for their role and involvement in the science, practice & organisation of immediate care. By tradition the Dinner dress code is black tie and miniatures or cocktail/evening dresses with miniatures, but please don’t be put off by this and if you prefer to dress more informally we’d still very much welcome your company.
The conference programme has now been published (click here). Unfortunately the offer of Early Bird tickets has now ended, but standard price tickets are still available. (Please see links below).
It would be advisable to book before Sunday 22nd September 2019, so that packages including accommodation and the Annual Dinner can be guaranteed.
I very much look forward to welcoming you to this years conference whether for a day or the entirety of the conference.
