MAGPAS at serious Thetford RTC
At 8:15 this morning, Magpas Helimedix (Dr Fiona Bowles and Volunteer Paramedic Dan Cody) arrived by the Magpas and Police Helicopter at A1065 at Munford near Thetford,after 3 cars were involved in a road traf fic collision. The Magpas team treated a man in his 70’s who suffered serious head, chest and limb injuries. The man had been trapped in his car for an hour, when the team arrived the fire services had removed the man from his car. The Magpas team administered pain killers and kept him warm. He was then accompanied by the Helimedix team in a land ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital.
