TACTICS at shooting incident

A WOMAN in her 40s has died as a result of apparent gunshot injuries in North Devon. At around 5.40pm Sunday 18th September police were called to a remote property near Parracombe in North Devon. At 6pm on  a North Devon BASICS Member from “TACTICS” supported the ambulance service in managing the injuries sustained.

On arrival Police found a woman aged in her 40’s in the grounds of the property having sustained apparent gunshot wounds. A man in his 50’s was located and arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. Police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

The premises was cordoned off and police crime scene investigators are at the scene conducting a forensic examination.
