MAGPAS attends 16 year old in trail bike accident
A 16 year old boy sustained serious injuries after a trail bike accident in Charlton, Luton last night (20 April).
The Magpas Helimedix flew by the Magpas and Police helicopter to the incident at 8.14pm.
The team treated the boy with A&E level care at the scene. They anaesthetised and took over his breathing in order to protect his airway. They continued to treat him whilst escorting him to Addenbrookes hospital in the Magpas and police helicopter, where on arrival his condition was described as serious.
