Health Secretary to visit MAGPAS

On Friday (30th September) at 3:45pm for 4pm, Conservative MP for South Cambridgeshire and Health Secretary Andrew Lansley will be visiting the Magpas Helimedix Base, to learn more about the night time service and how the charity fits in with the integrated trauma system for the Eastern Region.

Dr Robert Winter Director of the Academic Health Science System, Cambridge University Health Partners and Joint National Clinical Director of the Respiratory Programme for the Department of Health will also be attending, along with Mita Brahmbhatt Project Manager of the Integrated Trauma System for The Strategic Health Authority. Sue Smith, Chairman Hinchingbrooke Healthcare NHS Trust will also be joining us.

The purpose of the visit is to give Mr Lansley more of an insight into the lifesaving work we provide through working together.
