BASICS doctor attends triple stabbing

 

Police said officers were called to Jephson Road, in Sutton-in-Ashfield at about 11.30pm on Friday, 14th January after receiving a call to a serious incident.

A spokesman said: "There they found three men with injuries caused by what is believed at this time to be a knife or bladed instrument." The Ambulance Service was mobilised together with Dr Peter Holden, vice-chairman of BASICS.

One of the men, a 27-year-old, was pronounced dead at scene.

"Another man was in a serious condition and was treated before  transfer to hospital and a third man had received what is described as superficial injuries."
