A1 Jaguar found in tree

Just before nine O’clock Friday 4th Nov a single vehicle left the northbound carriageway of the A1 just before the A52 Barrowby junction.  This was a high speed nearside impact with a tree.  A passing Paediatric Registrar from Lincoln County Hospital stopped to give what assistance she could.  A LIVES nurse from Grantham, an Officer and two crews from East Midlands Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene.  With the assistance of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service the casualty was extricated from the wreck and transferred by road to Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham with life threatening injuries.
