Eight involved in serious accident at Diss

 

At 10:38am on 7th November there was a 2 car RTC on crossroads, between Garboldisham and Kennhall involving 8 people, two people were killed on scene.

The first car sustained significant damage. Of the 4 people on board, there were 2 fatalities (male and female), 1 seriously injured , details unknown of the other occupant. In the second car a male aged 46 was treated by Magpas’ Helimedix was seriously injured, other occupants were in a serious condition. No other details are known.

The Magpas Helimedix team in attendance were GP & Helimedix volunteer doctor David Bevan and East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) Critical Care paramedic Dan Cody. Magpas’ Helimedix team were taken rapidly to the scene by East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), piloted by Dave Bentley.

 

Also in attendance were Essex Air Ambulance, Anglia One (EAAA) from Norfolk, on board Anglia One were two East of England Ambulance Service Trust Critical Care paramedics and other emergency services.   

On scene were the following:

 

3 Helicopters - EAAA Anglia Two with Magpas Helimedix team on board

EAAA Anglian One with two East of England Ambulance Service Trust Critical Care paramedics on board

Essex Air Ambulance – crew unknown, as well as 4 Ambulances and 3 rapid response vehicles.
