April 2009 - West Midlands Care team attend Frankley Green crash
THREE people were injured after a “head on” two car crash in Frankley Green on 18th April The collision happened in Frankley Green Road at about 7pm and involved a Ford Fiesta and a Peugeot 206. Simon Link, Bromsgrove Fire Station watch manager, said: “This was a head on crash on a country road.” He added that a total of six people were in the two cars and the roofs and doors of the vehicles had to be removed to free the three injured occupants. The three patients were taken to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham to be treated for seatbelt chest injuries. A medic, BASICS doctors from the West Midlands care team, an incident support officer and three ambulance crews were at the scene.
