October 2009 - A361 accident: Driver thrown from rolling vehicle

Early this afternoon, an immediate care doctor from Barnstaple was called to a potentially serious road accident on the A361 North Devon Link road between South Molton & Tiverton. The driver of a car had been ejected from his vehicle during a roll over incident. Remarkably, the casualty survived the incident, though he was managed for a potential spinal injury and taken by air ambulance to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.
