Membership
There is a category of
membership within BASICS for anyone with
an interest or involvement in immediate
care.

Individual membership
This
is
open to any individual fully registered medical practionner, registered nurse, registered paramedic or person with equivalent qualification and with appropriate experience as specified in the byelaws. In addition full membership may be opened to other individuals by special approval of the Executice Council to those who have demonstrated particular experience in Immediate Care but do not meet the above criteria. Each full member shall be entitled to one vote.
Associate membership
This is
open to any individual member who has an interest in pre-hospital care but is not entitled to full membership.
Student membership
This
is
available to bona fide medical students
and we may restrict admission into this
category if we become oversubscribed as
this category is heavily subsidised.
Affiliated Group membership
This is
for an Immediate Care scheme. (please contact
headquarters for more details).
Supporters
There
is also a category of membership for
supporters of the organisation - full details
can be obtained from BASICS Headquarters.
The subscription year
is 1st April to 31st March.
Payment can be made by
cheque or direct debit. The subscription charges
for 2008/2009 are as follows:-
