Senior Management Team
BASICS is governed by an elected Executive Council, each member serving for 3 years with the option to serve for two consecutive terms. The Executive Council appoints the Senior Officers of the Association for a 3-year term of office who with the Chief Executive's participation form the senior management team. Each post holder can serve for two consecutive terms with the approval of the Executive Council. The Senior Officers meet formally on a monthly basis by telephone conference and provide oversight for all activities of the Association. The chairmen of the standing committees report to the senior management team and they in turn report via the chairman's report to the Executive Council at its quarterly round-table meetings.
